The Beeper Queen: Miriam is tasked with running Big Bob's Beepers after Big Bob injures himself before closing an important deal. Oskar Can't Read? :Oskar is fed up with the troubles of being illiterate, and with Arnold's help, learns how to read.

After winning coupons to a fancy French restaurant, Helga attempts to prove to Arnold that she is more sophisticated than Lila. /Helga is devastated when her patsy, Phoebe, is skipped to the 6th grade.

Back to School: After Arnold finds out that Grandpa never graduated grade school, Phil goes back to school to get his diploma. Egg Story: Arnold and Helga get teamed up in Mr. Simmons' class project to take care of an egg for a weekend. Helga tries to show her nice side, but Arnold, assuming that she's going to start picking on him, lays down the law before she gets a chance.

It Girl: When fashion expert Johnny Stitches visits PS 118, he considers Helga, with her snarling attitude, to be the perfect new model. Deconstructing Arnold: Arnold's classmates are tired of constantly telling them the right thing to do, so he stops giving them advice. Nevertheless, when his classmates get into sticky situations, they are in desperate need of his advice.

When Arnold and Grandpa get into a fender bender with Helga and Big Bob, the typical argument of who's at fault ensues./After a confrontation at PS 118 between Rhonda and Patty, they both end up at the same finishing school.

Arnold's weird cousin, Arnie, arrives for a visit and appears to be the biggest loser to everyone except Lila, the love of Arnold's life./Oskar's wife Susie agrees to watch her cousin's baby, also named Oskar.

Grandpa's Sister: Grandpa's sister Mitzi unexpectedly comes over to the Sunset Arms, and Grandpa isn't too happy about it. Synchronized Swimming: Coach Wittenberg talks the boys into forming a synchronized swimming team, though they think it's for girls.

Helga Sleepwalks: After eating one too many pork rinds before bed, Helga sleepwalks, acting out her dreams of confessing her love to Arnold. Fighting Families: Arnold is chosen to bring his family on a game show, but his family of boarders can't get along.

At a sleepover, Arnold and the boys sit around and tell scary stories./Wolfgang dares Arnold and the gang to break superstitions, which causes a spate of bad luck to erupt.

Arnold and Gerald, and Grandpa and Gerald's Dad visit a Veteran's memorial. Both older men tell tall tales about their military exploits, which the boys find hard to believe.

Helga is recommended for counseling after Dr. Bliss observes her berating Arnold, arguing with her parents, etc. She then learns that unrequited love is very normal and that she's actually okay.

Washed up balladeer Dino Spumoni fakes his own death in order to increase his record sales. Everyone believes he's dead and at the funeral, Grandpa and Arnold find out that Dino has left Arnold all his future record sales.
