A computer programmer, Richard, develops a computer algorithm that compresses files like no other. Richard lives in a house full with programmers and works for a computer company called Hooli. When Richard shows his idea off, Gavin Belson, head of Hooli, offers him 10 million. While another billionaire offers him 200,000 for 5% of his company. Richard has to figure out whether he wants to sell his company right off, or stay with it and use the funding from Peter Gregory. Written by James Hake

When asked by Peter Gregory for a business plan, Richard doesn't know what to do. Luckily, an employee that works for Gavin Belson, asks to work for Richard and his company Pied Piper, he accepts. While the employee, Jared, is working their, each person of the crew is asked on what they contribute to the group and problems arise. Meanwhile, his best friend Big Head warns him the people down at his last job, Hooli, are taking apart his algorithm. Written by James Hake

Richard thought everything was in place, but the name 'Pied Piper' he chose for the company and even has t-shirts printed with seems dorky to his team, who grudgingly accept it's a little late to change after fruitless brainstorming for an alternative. Worse, is already legally reserved by a petty Midwest farmer for his son's sprinkler firm, so Richard tries to personal approach, with promising and scary results. Written by KGF Vissers

Main investor Peter Gregory agreed to a meeting to decide whether to actually fund Richard's project. While his delegation must be composed and prepare, sole slick talker Erlich Bachman insists on a seat in the board, but earlier agreements imply instead that 'silent partner' nerds should occupy all board seats. While preparing his Pied Piper presentation, nerve-wrecks Richard ends up shivering wet in his underwear, so he and Jason welcome and reward Ehrlich's offer to step in. Written by KGF Vissers

Now that Pied Piper is the official company name, Erlich wants a logotype to go with it so he hires a very unexpected artist in for the job. Meanwhile Richard gets a tighter deadline for the project after a simple mistake.

Richard comes across a problem in the code writing and hires Kevin, a young kid, to write the code for him.

Richard has trouble getting Pied Piper ready in time for the TechCrunch Disrupt, while Erlich realizes he slept with the wife of one of the judges of the contest.

Following the assault on Erlich, TechCrunch allows Pied piper to directly go to the final round where they will compete against Gavin Belson only to find out that his software 'nucleus' has a compression rate which is almost equal to Pied piper's. Written by Anonymous
