The guys get a new boss and his first act is to instruct everyone to write a paper telling him why he shouldn't fire him/her. And the one with the weakest paper is fired. But Neal is still reeling from his break-up so Tyler gives him some pills to calm him down. But the pills Tyler gave puts Neal to sleep. And when they can't wake him up. they get Milo to talk to their boss out of the paper thing. And he does and decides to talk to everyone one on one. Tyler asks Jude go get a drink with him and plans to ask her out but, Neal shows up and when a girl latches on to him, he keeps going back to Tyler to ask what should he do. Eventually he leaves with her. Milo learns that Gibbs doesn't cry and tries to get him to do so. And Neal shows up to tell them things between him and the girl didn't work out because she didn't like what she saw when she opened his pants. They tell him it's no big thing but he says it is literally. Tyler just as he's about to make a move is interrupted by the appearance of one of Jude's former co-workers who goes on about his job at CNN and how Jude is working at the magazine, that's when Jude drinks a lot and goes home and Tyler goes with her and she comes on to him but he turns her down. She asks him to stay and he does and when they wake up they find her place has been robbed and something of great sentimental value was taken. And she blames Tyler because he didn't lock the door.
