Bowling alley worker Amy tells Callum, her psychiatrist, of her belief that she can identify the demonically possessed. Seeing a likely suspect she is pursued but rescued by Raquel, a ferocious girl with a similar gift, whilst the fleeing demon is run over and killed by Amy's friend Suzanne. Unfortunately the demon transfers itself to Suzanne and the girls' efforts to exorcise her fail horribly. Having buried Suzanne helped by Amy Raquel is visited by Sawyer, the good demon who previously saved her, warning that Callum is sending the ferocious Mercy to kill her and Amy. The girls call upon Jake to help them escape but, along with Sawyer, fall into the hands of Mercy and her gang - who kill Sawyer. Raquel however saves herself and Amy by destroying their captors with psychic powers she never knew she possessed. Raquel and Amy track down Mercy in their efforts to find Suzanne but she escapes and warns Callum. After sex with Tyler - to the annoyance of Jake - Amy gets a call from Suzanne, prompting Amy, Raquel and Jake to ride to her rescue, but it is a trap , designed to make Suzanne kill and feed off Amy though Suzanne has other ideas. The surviving girls realize that they are still in danger, particularly when a nightmare Amy had seems to be prophetic and she attempts to stop Raquel from driving away with Harry. Harry tells Raquel that he is a demon hunter, sent by her late father to protect her but Amy is suspicious of him. Finding a flier in Harry's pocket she gets Jake to drive her to a sinister building where, in three days' time, on Halloween, a demonic rite will take place with Raquel as its focus. They are captured but saved by Raquel and Harry and Amy is touched by Jake's offer of self-sacrifice before the girls and Jake decide to go on the run and leave town. Callum uses Harry to lure Raquel out of her hiding place to the Halloween venue where he will use her power as half-demon to unlock the gates of Hell and release the devils that will possess the party-goers. A suspicious Amy and Jake follow, like all the guests in disguise, and Amy is captured and chained alongside Raquel. However Amy knows precisely what to do to reverse the ritual and in doing so saves Raquel and the world though the girls' ordeal is not yet over as there is one final exorcism to perform.
