Michelle a former professional ballerina turned Las Vegas showgirl decides it's time for her to get back to her roots. She goes on an audition for the musical Chicago and after an unexpected reaction accepts a marriage proposal from longtime admirer Hubble. Acting on impulse they get married and Michelle relocated to a small dreary town where she will share a house with her new husband and mother in law. Trying to avoid being seen, they stay out a little longer than expected and don't get home before the doors lock and alarm is set. When Fanny freaks, Sasha storms out and her part is given to Boo. After thinking about it, Sasha decides to quit dance for cheerleading. Michelle finds a new local coffee shop with an award winning barista. After frequenting the shop a few times, she manages to upset the barista and their personalities clash. Fanny is on the search for a dancer to portray Clara in the Nutcracker since Sasha is gone, but is finding it difficult to replace her. The girls are exhausted from the extra rehearsals and decide to go see a basketball game to watch Sasha cheer. Boo realizes she has a crush on Charlie and wants to tell him but, it might be too late. The Nutcracker performance is upon us and since Sasha had quit, Fanny was desperate and called in The Ringer. Now that Sasha returned, Fanny's punishment is for Sasha to tell the ringer she's no longer needed, which isn't an easy feat. Michelle helps with choreography and organizing a fundraiser. After macing the girls backstage at The Nutcracker, Michelle leaves Paradise and heads back to Vegas. She finds a job working with a magician, but clearly isn't happy. Fanny has closed the studio since the mishap at the Nutcracker and is using the studio as storage. She's missing Michelle and has been watching videos of her teaching the girls. Fanny realizes how important Michelle is to the studio and wants her back. With the studio closed, Michelle gone and Sasha at the Joffrey Ballet summer program, the rest of the girls are keeping busy. Things start getting crowded and out of control and Michelle starts to lose it, so she decides to help Truly. The girls are curious about the 2 new multi talented students at their high school and notice their every move. Carl comes home from summer camp and is excited to see Boo. They meet each other's parents and Boo starts thinking about the future. Sasha is still seeing Roman and sneaking around with him but Michelle is aware of what is going on. Fanny and Michelle have figured out a way to bring in revenue, since non of their students pay for classes. The only issue is the money needed to bring this idea to life. After searching for an answer, Michelle has an offer from Truly's sister that seems too good to be true. Truly is still using the studio space to set up shop and seems to be doing well. Melanie finds out why her brother has been acting so weird and now has some anger issues. Cozzette, the new mysterious student, notices and invites Melanie to join a new type of team. When Michelle's brother Scotty shows up unexpectedly, Michelle is both excited and caught off guard. After yet another failed marriage, Scotty decides to stay with Michelle and watch her teach, upsetting Michelle. Boo and Carl get into a fight right before class and Boo has a hard time focusing with everything going on. She loses it and goes off on the choreographer. Now that Fanny and Michelle have enlisted Milly to back the studio amphitheater, Milly wants to take over every aspect of the amphitheater and studio. When Fanny puts her foot down, Milly threatens to sue. Sasha has found an apartment and decorates it so she can throw a house warming party. She's excited for this new adventure and wants the girls to stay over to help break in the apartment. The only problem is Boo, Melanie and Ginny's parents will not allow it since there is no parental supervision. Sasha realizes quickly that living on her own is lonely. Michelle goes on a road trip with Scotty but is concerned about the bathroom situation. She reluctantly accepts the position but has to work with Bash, a neurotic control freak. As the people star showing up, things get chaotic. Sasha comes home to an open door and isn't sure if there's still someone in there. She gains the courage to go in after Roman shows up to save her.
