On a school science trip near a supposedly haunted cave, practical jokers Paul and Alex plan a prank to scare the girls, but it goes disastrously wrong when Paul vanishes into thin air. While his friends search in vain, Paul discovers a curious object, but is chased away and soon finds himself lost and alone in a strange place. Written by Phil G

As he starts to learn more about his new surroundings, he begins to suspect that he has traveled back in time, until he sees Ashka demonstrating the Spellbinder's power. Paul returns to the Summoning Tower where he first entered Riana's world, in the hope of getting home. The portal opens again and he sees his friends and family, but it closes before he is able to get through. He discovers that the Spellbinders' power is based in science and believes they may be able to help him get home, but first he must convince Gryvon that he really has come from another world. Ashka agrees to try and help Paul when he manages to convince her that he really is from another world and that he has knowledge that could be useful to the Spellbinders. Riana makes her way to the castle where Paul is imprisoned, but finds Gryvon following the same path. Riana sneaks into the castle with the videos of Paul's world and Paul shows Correon the videos and starts to explain about the technology of his world. When Ashka realizes that she is missing out, she and Gryvon plot to hide Paul so that they alone can benefit from his knowledge. When Paul's father laughs at Katrina's theory, Alex confesses that he saw something at the cave and he and Katrina set out to recreate the conditions of the accident in the hope of bringing Paul home. Alex and Katrina find a way to get back to the cave, by buying places on a school literature camp. Paul agrees to make gunpowder for Gryvon but, not sure he can trust him, hides the real recipe from him. After escaping, Riana discovers that Ashka and Gryvon intend to abandon Paul after they learn the secrets of fireworks, and she turns to Correon for help in rescuing Paul. Written by Phil G

In an abandoned Spellbinder castle, Paul and Correon learn that the darkness was caused by over-ambitious Spellbinders, not by Marauders as the official story suggests. Realising that Paul's knowledge is too dangerous, Correon agrees to help Paul return to his own world. At the Summoning Tower, Correon attempts to reopen the portal, but doesn't have enough power without help from Paul's world. Back at the cave, Alex and Katrina pick up Spellbinder transmissions on their radio and try to make contact using walkie-talkies. Written by Phil G

Captured by the Marauders, Paul and Correon discover that they are actually just ordinary villagers who were banished by the Spellbinders. When Paul fails to persuade the Marauders to release Correon, the pair attempt to escape, but finding their way out of the camp isn't so easy. Meanwhile, Alex and Katrina enlist Nathan's help for their plan to share the Spellbinders' radio signals with Paul's father and prove that their theory is true. Written by Phil G

Zander agrees to help Riana and Paul, but is unable to persuade the other Marauders not to banish Correon. Alex blackmails his brother into taking him and Katrina back to the cave where they set up the radios and are able to warn Paul that Ashka is set to attack the Marauder camp. Ashka and Gryvon recapture Paul and take him back to the castle, but he uses another attempt at making gunpowder to escape and tries to warn the Regents of what is really going on. Written by Phil G

Ashka challenges Correon to a duel and sabotages his power suit to ensure that he loses and will be banished. Riana returns to the castle to tell Paul that his friends are trying to make contact but back in his world, Alex is getting frustrated when he receives no replies to their messages. Paul discovers the source of the castle's power and uses it to get away from Ashka and Gryvon, but must learn to operate one of their flying ships in order to escape the castle. Written by Phil G

Alex and Katrina finally make contact with Paul and agree to return to the cave to help him get back, but getting there proves difficult as Paul's father still refuses to believe that Paul is in a parallel dimension. Correon makes his way back from the wastelands and is encouraged to hear of Paul's progress via the radio. When the flying ship crash lands, Paul impersonates a Spellbinder to get help from a nearby village, but Ashka is still close on his trail, so he and Riana find themselves on the run once more. Captured by the Summoner, Paul must convince Riana's mother to help him escape before Ashka arrives. Alex and Katrina make their way back to the cave to set up the cable that will reopen the portal. In a last effort to stop Paul, Ashka damages the Summoning Tower, and Paul is forced to take Riana through the portal with him as he finally makes his way back home. Written by Phil G

Distracted by the sights of a world that is entirely new to her, Riana fails to get on a train with Paul and finds herself lost in Sydney. Before he gets a chance to find her, Paul is picked up by the police who recognize him and call his father. Believing that Paul is suffering from exhaustion and amnesia, his father assumes that Paul has imagined his story about the Spellbinders and Riana. Meanwhile, Ashka hunts for Bron to retrieve Paul's video camera. Written by Phil G

Josie and Ben agree to look after Riana, until the authorities come after them and Riana is injured trying to get away. Startled by all the technology at the hospital, Riana soon finds that she's not allowed to leave as a psychiatrist takes an interest in her. Paul realizes that his father doesn't believe him and with Alex's help he tries to recharge the power suit to prove that he's telling the truth. Written by Phil G

Understanding that Dr Lim will never believe the truth, Paul decides to use the power suit to get past security and break Riana out of the hospital, not realizing how much damage it can cause. Correon, Zander and Bron make a detour to Bron's village on the way to the castle and are shocked to discover that Ashka has taken Bron's family hostage. Deciding it best to wait before revealing Riana to his father, Paul tries to keep her hidden, but her unfamiliarity with his world makes it difficult. Written by Phil G

Christine agrees to help Paul hide Riana, but it becomes more complicated when Riana insists on going to school with them. Paul tries to get the radio back from Mr Kennett so that he can contact the Spellbinders' world again. Correon and Bron reach the castle and expose the truth about Ashka, but she manages to escape before she can be punished. Making contact with Correon, Paul learns that the Summoning Tower has been repaired and they can send Riana back to her own world. Written by Phil G

On the run from the police for fear of being sent back to the hospital, Rianna is reunited with Josie and Ben and tries to help Josie to find her father, but without success. Paul contacts Correon to make the arrangements for Rianna's return, but Ashka is not far away and follows Correon to the Summoning Tower. When a gang take an interest in the warehouse that Josie and Ben are living in, Riana helps them to defend their home. Written by Phil G

Josie, Ben and Riana are once again threatened by the gang, but Paul and Alex arrive just in time and use the power suit to chase the gang away. Josie is reunited with her father and Riana finally gets to go home, insisting that Paul goes with her to visit her family once more. But Ashka learns how to open the portal between the worlds and kidnaps Riana to learn more about Paul's world before she goes there herself. Written by Phil G

After making sure Riana got home safely, Paul returns to his own world and disables the doorway, unaware that Ashka is already there. Paul returns to his friends and family, hoping to resume normal life, but Katrina is unhappy about missing the chance to see Riana's world. Paul, Alex and Katrina try to track down Ashka by monitoring the electromagnetic energy emitted by her power suit. When Katrina finds her, Ashka tricks her into believing she is a different Spellbinder and, tempted by the chance to visit Riana's world, Katrina agrees to help her and keep her presence a secret. Paul and Alex track Ashka down to her hotel and confront her. They destroy the power suit, but Ashka escapes. When Paul finds out that Katrina had been helping Ashka he is furious, leaving their friendship in danger. Ashka returns to the Spellbinder world to obtain the designs from the ancient Spellbinders in the hope that they can be improved by the technology in Paul's world, but Riana discovers Gryvon helping her again and follows them. After Riana escapes from the old castle, she follows Ashka back to Paul's world and tries to find Paul to warn him. Ashka visits Paul's father and shows him the designs for the power suit, encouraging him to build a new, more advanced version of it. Paul sneaks Riana into his father's lab with the video camera, determined to prove the truth, but when Ashka uses her new power suit to disrupt the video and kidnaps Riana, Brian's left thinking that Paul is crazy. After sabotaging the power suit, Paul, Alex and Katrina set out to rescue Riana, but a nosy neighbor calls the police who catch Alex and Katrina. While Riana sneaks into Brian's lab once again, Paul uses a taxi driver to distract Ashka for long enough for him to show his father the video of Ashka and introduce Riana, finally convincing him that Paul has been telling the truth all along.
