A blind Yorkshire castle owner is systematically robbed, probably by his new social services-assigned community service condemned assistant Michael Fry. Scary, unsuccessful clown Mr. Jelly blames his professional state on the presumed sender of the note, Mr. Jolly. A midget does well as an actor but not in love. A fat old mother's baby looses another job because of his macabre obsessions. A Lamaze class instructor is obsessed with her child wish, transferred to the master demonstration dummy. David Sowerbutts's boss came to his home for an amicable settlement, but his mother turns it into the ultimate nightmare. The blind castle owner tries to convince the kid to give up the toy. Debbie falls into a coma. Joy's baby starts to come alive.

Robert takes advantage of Debbie's amnesia. Mr Jelly entertains an old people's home and Maureen learns the truth.
