Based on a true story, In Plain Sight is a three part miniseries about Lanarkshire's Detective William Muncie and his quest to bring to justice notorious killer Peter Manuel. The programme is set in the 1950's but the characters' story began in 1946 when Muncie first arrested Manuel, for the crime of housebreaking, as well as several charges of sexual assault.
